Marin County Office of Education programs
- four special day classes for students diagnosed with autism or autistic spectrum disorders. These classes are limited to 6-7 students with a credentialed teacher and two instructional assistants. Two serve students in preschool and two provide services for students at the elementary level. Students in both programs are served five days a week in special day classes which include occupational therapy services, discrete trial training and a language program, Links to Language. Each student receives individual speech therapy as well as consultative speech and language services to the classroom staff. Staff are afforded two hours per week outside of student attendance hours to discuss program planning needed to meet student needs.
